The course materials are just amazing, so visual, and there is so much information in each module, but for me, it was the graphic images that made it so easy to learn, fab information.

The course materials are not like other course materials – I have been given a library of how to support the many-many issues people suffer from. I feel it was easy to understand and Annette made sure everyone understood each module before moving on making everything clear, I learn visually, and this can normally be an issue in some courses, but Annette makes so many visual tools it helped so much instead of reading and explanation.

The course materials were beyond expectation I never needed to bring a pen if I didn’t want to or forgot mine.

I have already recommended the course to friends and I am trying to encourage family members to enrol.

When I first embarked on the course I was very enthusiastic and excited. However with my business commitments as was apprehensive also, worrying if I had taken too much on. Annette soon put me at ease and reassured me that I was investing my time in a career that was right for me. How right she was.

Annette has delivered the course in a way that is understanding yet challenging which for me is just right. Annette believes in you having the correct information, yet you must study and show dedication in addition to putting in as much practice as possible. In other words don’t expect to be spoon fed which is an empowering lesson as we will be running our own business therefore 100% effort is needed. I must add Annette puts in 150 % for every single pupil.

I know without a shadow of a doubt I chose the correct course and the correct tutor.

I feel I have the correct knowledge to start my own business and Annette even supports us by recommending and signposting us to other professionals that can help us set up things like websites and business cards.

I feel I have grown as an individual in addition to enhancing my ability in working as a team. I feel I could not have been on the course with a better group of people. We have encouraged and supported each other throughout assuring me that we are all in the correct profession (we all want to help others). This support has extended to a daily support system that Annette cleverly set up enabling us to communicate on a daily basis and we have all made full use of it.

I have grown alongside my colleagues whom I know will be lifelong friends. Annette creates an atmosphere that is relaxed, and no one is in fear of making mistakes as Annette so often points out we cannot fail we simply get feedback. I leave each weekend hypnotherapy course feeling invigorated and positive. I travel 4 hours one weekend a month for this course and on my journey home I reflect on the weekend. Each time I feel the same which is overwhelming happiness and excitement for the next weekend’s course. I think traveling so far speaks for itself…yes, it is worth it even with that dreaded M62 😊

I do believe nothing in life that is worth achieving is easy. Yet Annette has made the course so easy to digest with the information we get monthly. For me it is presented to a very high standard and Annette is dedicated to ensuring each and every one of us understands everything. Annette wants us to be the best we can, and her reputation is extremely important to her therefore we all want to continue with her high standards. The professionalism of how she teaches, the caring kindness she gives on a personal level, the content of the course is massive and covers a lot of issues and techniques. The quality of paper handouts she gives out is the best I’ve had as in quality of the paper and the coloured images printed some are almost like a coloured scan. Even the hotel and conference room exceeds expectation.

When I signed up for the course my intentions were to move forward my NHS nursing qualifications and experience to a more holistic and natural way of helping people, also to be my own boss, work my own hours and work from home. All of these I have achieved. So therefore I have certainly grown as a person and professionally as well. Annette is extremely good at realising that I could do more and was forever pushing me out of my comfort zone into realising my new potential and for that I will be always grateful. This course with the Annette School of Hypnotherapy has been absolutely tremendous! To find precise words to convey what it has done for me would falling short of how I feel. Annette is the most amazing tutor I have ever come across and I have, over the years, completed many varied courses. The manual was so full of information it was extremely heavy! However, despite all the written information at our disposal, Annette still discussed everything in great detail. We did not just read the manual (or ever suffer death by powerpoint!) as her explanations and discussions of the topics were at length and nothing was left vague or questions unanswered.

Do you feel you’ve grown as a person whilst being part of the course, if so why?

I feel Annette has instilled a far greater confidence in me than I would have thought possible. It has also made me view life differently, as well as realising and understanding that with greater personal input just for myself, I can effect a positive change in me. If I can do that on a regular basis I can grow and achieve whatever I set out to do. Most people would like to feel that they can make a difference by helping someone and if I can do that, then I would feel a great sense of fulfilment.

I am not an academic and I greatly appreciated how the courses were constructed so that I was not left feeling inadequate or out of my depth. Sometimes when reading a text book one has to read and re-read information several times to assimilate it , but Annette has a wonderful way of expressing complicated and often intense detail in such a way as to make it seem so much easier to understand.

Training to be an Analytical Hypnotherapist and NLP coach you have to be prepared to experience the therapy yourself to know its power and how it can be a tool to empower people in their lives. As such, part of the learning warrents that you explore your own issues and challenges. In doing this, not only does it allow you to become a better therapist but you do grow at a personal level.

I have developed additional skills to help me to deal more effectively with stress in my life!

Do you think the way it was taught was easy to understand, please expand?

Annette is a fantastic teacher. She adapts to the style of teaching you feel works best for you. She was especially accommodating of my dyslexia and dyspraxia which meant that I felt supported and did not struggle at any point. She also altered certain strategies to adapt to my needs.

Were the course materials to your expectations?

The handouts and printed materials are of the highest standard. In fact, I would say this is a huge bonus and sell point of Annette’s courses! Everything is beautifully presented with colour images. The resources can then be used with your own clients to explain various concepts in therapy post qualification.

I also think the additional resources helping with planning your business are a wonderful addition to the course!
