Accreditation
The Annette Brown School of Hypnotherapy, Coaching, NLP, EMDR, EFT, & Mindfulness training is in alignment with the NOC (National Occupational Standards) for Hypnotherapy and also the UK Core Curriculum for Hypnotherapy.
The Annette Brown School of Hypnotherapy Diploma Course is certified by several governing/professional bodies in the UK. There are two options available for qualifications. The first one is the HPD Diploma, where a portfolio is completed by the students, and the certificate is externally produced by NCFE.
The second option is accredited by the GHSC/GHR, and here no portfolio is completed, however you can still join the CNHC for either option, as the hypnotherapy training I offer meets the National Occupational Standards and the Core Curriculum for Hypnotherapy.
The NCH actively contributes to the voluntary self-regulation process mandated by Government, so members have a voice and say in the future of our profession. The NCH holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom.
The NCH promotes high training standards and nationally recognised qualifications in Hypnotherapy. The Annette Brown Clinical Hypnotherapy Diploma Training Course is externally accredited and approved by the NCH as meeting the HPD conditions.
The GHSC is the validating body for the practitioner diploma exam. The General Hypnotherapy Standards Council (GHSC) and General Hypnotherapy Register (GHR) are the UK’s largest and most prominent organisations within the field of Hypnotherapy. Together they present an exemplary model for the simultaneous protection of the public and the provision of practitioner credibility and services. The GHSC is responsible for overseeing the criteria for the ongoing registration of individual practitioners within the GHR.
The GHR is the governing body that you will be a member of once you have completed your training. GHR is overseen by the GHSC and is responsible for its day-to-day administration together with the implementation of all GHSC decisions. It is a professional association and register of practising hypnotherapists, comprising more than 3,000 UK based individual practitioners, together with registered therapists in some 35 countries around the world, which can be viewed via our online hypnotherapy directory. The GHR are additionally a verifying organisation for those practitioners who wish to register within the Hypnotherapy section of the profession’s Voluntary Regulator, the Complementary & Natural Healthcare Council, set up with Department of Health funding.
NCFE’s vision is a vision of a world where everyone has the opportunity, means and motivation to access the highest quality learning experiences. We want to enable as many beneficiaries as possible to experience truly transformational learning experiences, over a lifetime, that enable them to fulfil their potential in their career and life more broadly. To do this we need to better understand our beneficiaries, their context, their opportunities, and their challenges.
The CNHC is the independent UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners. The CNHC was set up with government support to protect the public by providing a UK voluntary register of health practitioners. CNHC’s register has been approved as an Accredited Register by the Professional Standards Authority for Health and Social Care, a body accountable to Parliament. Once qualified as a practitioner you will be entitled to apply for CNHC membership.
The International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM) has been developed to provide the general public and health care professionals with a body of regulated professionals, all hold relevant qualifications or experience to recognised levels. All our IPHM members are individually assessed and checked by IPHM so that you know that the service they offer is accountable and reliable.
You will also be able to join the ACCPH which is open to all Counsellors, Coaches, Psychotherapists and Hypnotherapists who are full-time or part-time in private practice and those who work within an organisation and wish to belong to a professional body. The ACCPH is an independent self-regulated UK professional body for qualified Coaches, Counsellors, Psychotherapists, Hypnotherapists and School Mentors. We accept members from all six modalities, including those using “non-standard” techniques like Spiritual Coaching, Abundance Coaching, Psychoneuroimmunology, Neuroscience, Neuropsychology, Evolutionary Psychology, and many other approaches.
